Dr. Patrick Ohlenforst
Dr. Patrick Ohlenforst spent his entire career serving the Irving community with expert orthodontic care, genuine kindness, and a commitment to excellence.
Known for his warm personality and dedication to each patient’s smile, Dr. Ohlenforst built our practice (now known as Ward Orthodontics) on honesty, trust, and community values.
Though now retired, his passion for building confident smiles and lasting relationships continues to inspire everything we do today.
Education & Experience
Dr. Ohlenforst has practiced in Irving his entire career. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Ohlenforst received his master's degree and completed his residency in orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Outside the Office
Dr. Ohlenforst and his wife, Cindy, have three beautiful daughters (all three are Notre Dame graduates!). He volunteers with many organizations and enjoys spending quality time at the beach and with his family. With eight grandkids to spoil, he has plenty to do in his spare time.
