Dr. Nick Ward was born and raised right here in Irving, TX, and he's thrilled to be back serving the community that shaped him. Dr. Ward earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Dentistry, where he was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
After dental school, Dr. Ward continued his education at The University of Texas at Houston, completing an advanced orthodontic residency program. Dr. Ward is experienced in several clear aligner systems, including Invisalign, Angel Aligners, and 3M Clarity Aligners.
Dr. Patrick Ohlenforst proudly served the Irving community for decades, founding our practice (now known as Ward Orthodontics) on values of honesty, trust, and personalized care.
Though now retired, Dr. Ohlenforst’s legacy continues to shape the warm, family-first experience patients enjoy at Ward Orthodontics today.
